OLD FRIENDS, NEW GOALS

This Sunday (March 6), Tackle Your Feelings will be joining two past professional rugby players as they prepare for a gruelling cycling challenge at the end of the month in aid of our friends at Movember.

Jack Dineen, a former Connacht academy player is joining forces with Greg O’Shea and two of his old Lansdowne FC teammates in Damien O’Sullivan and Eduardo Moffitt to take on a 150km cycle as they step up their preparation for cycling the length of the country. From March 24th, the group will attempt to cycle from Malin Head to Mizen Head.

Starting off from Mulligan’s Pub in Sandymount, this weekend’s cycling challenge is one of a number of activities that leads into the group’s ultimate challenge of climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro in June of this year.

All efforts are aimed at raising awareness and funds for our friends at Movember.

Supporters of the Tackle Your Feelings campaign, Movember are the world’s leading men’s health organisation and support causes concerning testicular cancer, prostate cancer and men’s mental health & suicide prevention.

As a charity, Movember have been widely supported by Rugby Players Ireland, TYF and rugby players throughout the country, both amateur and professionally. We are therefore delighted to support Jack, Greg, Damien and Eduardo in their endeavours.

With a fundraising target of €30,000, the team would appreciate any support that can provided using this link.

You can follow the group this Sunday via our Instagram page and keep up to date with their progress more generally via @Kilimanjaro_22 on Instagram.
