LOWE: NOTHING BEATS KEARNEY’S EXPERIENCE AT FULL-BACK
James Lowe is convinced Rob Kearney has to be the full-back Ireland turn to as the World Cup heats up.
“I hope Rob’s going to be fit and play 15,” said the Leinster wing at the relaunch of the Tackle Your Feelings Mental Wellbeing App and Website yesterday. This comes despite the back-three coach Joe Schmidt trusted against Scotland, with Jordan Larmour, Andrew Conway and Jacob Stockdale all performing well.
There is just no substitute for experience when it comes to the grandest stage of all and Kearney has duly been named in the starting team for Saturday’s clash with Japan, “Rob, when it comes to a World Cup, he’s the man you want there,” said Lowe.
